You can type! Try to use the WinScp client. If you havent got enough permissions WinScp will give you a clear error. Are you logging in as the root user when downloading the files? If not, try that and it should work. Try from some other local directory.

Maybe it will work. How do we use a GUI to manage the database? I tried using RoboMongo and MongoChef but neither works. Anyone with Meteor apps managing their collections with a GUI?

Why are snapshots so slow? It took 35 minutes to make a snapshot. Opened 19 years ago. Last modified 8 years ago. But when the connection is done I can't see any files. Although the message log says "Response: Sucessfully received 29 items". I've posted the whole message log further down. Sometimes I can upload files, but I can't see the file. I've tried to upload a file which doesn't already exist in the directory not overwriting I couldn't see the file when it was uploaded.

I'm using FileZilla 2. I know I have the permissions to do everything in my account view, write etc. Status: Connecting to dakire. Status: Connected with dakire. Can you please enable "Show raw directory listing" on the debug page in the settings dialog? Then connect to the server and post the resulting log. That's a really strange directory listing, I've not seen something similar yet. Which OS and filesystem does the server have?

Whithout more information about the used filesystem, I can't parse this listing. Here's a part of the ftplog when accessing the server from within the local network it's part of:.

Are there any other troubleshooting steps I can take? Yes, it is FileZilla client that we are trying to connect. I don't know what the external server is running. Connection type is using default settings. No change using a different switch no VLANs in use and I have tried other workstations using my profile but no joy there either.

I haven't carried out any other testing for DNS etc. It's a small network here where all workstations are connected to one of two switches.

I can copy files to other workstaions ok. I am running W7 Ultimate, other workstations are mostly W7 Pro. I don't think there are any relevant GPO policies but will check this. McAfee VirusScan Enterprise. I have disabled this on test machines but the connection succeeds on mine anyway with VirusScan running.

FileZilla has both a Client and a Server component. Since you are mentioning multiple computers, I can only assume that you are referring to FileZilla Client. In that case, what is the FTP Server that you are trying to connect to, and what software is it running? What type of connection are you using? Standard FTP, plain insecure connection?

If using a secure connection, what type of Certificate are you using?
