Other bloatware looks and behaves a lot like adware and spyware , which are types of malicious software. Not only is bloatware useless, it also eats up your resources by consuming disk space. And after you uninstall a program, it can leave remnants behind in the form of old registry entries, dead shortcuts, and temporary files. Unsure if you want to remove a particular app?

PartitionGuru is able to delete files permanently as well as wipe deleted files for good. I would like to see a simple utility that securely deletes my Recycle Bin or replaces it. I still like sending files to the Recycle Bin, and like to right-click to empty. I had eraser but there are a few problems with it. The pc shutdown is very slow because eraser. Nice article Bro. Most drives come with a secure delete built into the hard drive itself. The computer manufacturers disable it in the bios but there is a way. And it is pretty much created by a bunch of genius scientists. I actually used it recently on a 6 year old computer and it worked like a charm. I never want that to happen, and you might not want that to happen, either. You can always go way down to the bottom of the Storage Sense configuration page and kick off Storage Sense manually. As my colleague Brad Chacos explains , WinDirStat solves this problem by offering a top-down view of your hard drive, with a graphical representation of the size and type of your files. Want to find out how much space is consumed by.
MP4 video files? WinDirStat can tell you. It presents this information to you in a File Explorer-like interface coupled with a graphical UI, so you may need to dig through and find any hidden Steam games, for example, that may have escaped your notice.
