The Timing dial scales the small delays between each of the clones. The ratios are fixed, this dial merely stretches them all. Tight values are best for thickening synth sounds, middle values are usually appropriate for realistic vocal ensembles and acoustic instruments, and loose is a kind of chaotic delay effect.
If you are creating a multi-part harmony, the Section control provides four variations in the way the clones are organised - each clone has a different vibrato, timing delay, comb filter and position in the stereo image. The A, B, C and D sections shuffle these attributes, so that if you process each harmony part separately, they won't all end up sounding the same. The next two controls determine how the clones are positioned in the stereo image.
Focus controls the spread - they can fill the stereo image evenly from left to right, or you can group them closer together. In the first phrase, you'll hear a solo vocal, in the second I've added Clone Ensemble.
For the final phrase I sang four harmony parts and applied Clone Ensemble separately to each. I sang the bass part an octave high, and let Clone Ensemble transpose and deepen it. I recommand jBridge. NB: This plugin may not work at sample rates of KHz. I recommend using sample rates of 96 KHz or below. The freeware versions are restricted so that you cannot adjust any of the settings, so you are hardwired to a single preset.

It is light years ahead of the vocals remover built into Audacity. Tim Worley. You can dial up a classical choir, a tight jazz chorus or an incredibly realistic ADT effect. One voice becomes a choir One instrument becomes a section One oscillator becomes a silky smooth pad New in v4. Tried the freeware v4. Sounds ridiculous. You need a better demo setting to sell this thing. I finally got a down load and have tried several times each time I have not been able to retreve it or or to see how it works.
